Play School
I have been going to play school for 2 weeks now but today was diffeent. It was a milestone that gave my parents great joy and relief!!Very dramatic right :) you want to know what is so much hoopla about, I'll tell you.
Mom took me school like usual, she came up with me, sat with me through class and sang rhymes with us, but before i could guess-mom was missing. I started crying but soon i forgot about her and started playing in the class with other kids. Teacher and maushy also gave me special attention and i sat for the whole class. This was first time i sat through 9.30 to 11.30 class (hope thats max time i have to sit for a class). Mom was so happy-she called dad, dadi, masi everyone to share the news.
The reason i sat thru the class today was-They showed us Tom n Jerry ;). If they show it everyday i m cool sitting in class everyday.

Neik in first haircut

Since birth, I have always had cool curly hair. When i was around 1 year 2 months i got a complete hair cut. I was distracted byt tv, Nani, ba everyone and before i knew all my hair was gone. I was so confused when i got up from sleep that day-i tried to wave my hand through my curls and it was all gone. Day by day my hair started growing again. It was not the same cool hair that i had originally but its was still cool.
Today i had my first real hair cut-just like big people. I went to a hair cutting saloon with Dad, sat on big people's chair anf got a hair cut. Here's my first look:

Happy Diwali

Happy Diwali and New Year to all.
Diwali means all this to me: new clothes, mom at home all time, Ba mom n Dad doign puja and noise. Bursting noise was bearable and intruiging at home but when i went for my evening walk-God it was unbearable. I was with mom n Ba so slept on mom's shoulder.
I got 3 awesome gifts this diwali-rocking horse ,honking chair and blue ball.
Amy fia had come for weekend and we took her out for shopping. i had a great time runnign around the mall (hypercity). I loved the place-so many racks, aisles-who will sit and watch all this from shopping trolley. I jumped from it, wiggled my way out and ran around to mom's delight. At the very end of shopping,we went to first floor-full kids section. I started playing with all toys around and mom got emotional ;). She n Ba persuaded dad to buy all these gifts for me. Ba is awesome at persuading dad-i must learn from her, she is pro.

I am a learner and explorer, i also like my space. I took the book Ba reads from and was reading it on our stairs. Btw, i can now climb stairs without support :)

Mum's little helper

Since i am such a good boy and fast learner, i helped Mum putting all pea skins in kachra bag!
I did this on my own, without anyone asking me to do it, just by watching what mum was doing.
Ain't i smart and nice!!

Neik and his 'kuku'

Long time no see, thats been the case with this blog. I have a adventurous, exploratory life and discover new things everyday. Life is so busy and exciting that i don't keep a log of it here ;).
I know this last line will get me nasty comments from some of my 'followers' but everyone can blame mom on my behalf.

This is 'kuku' (people call him doggie, kalu and blackie also sometimes). He is my friend and we stay in same building. I love talking to him and feed him pebbles available nearby. I am not scared of him at all but sometimes kuku gets scared of me when i get too close. If i step on his tail or go more near to him, poor guy just runs away. Since kuku is my friend, i keep calling his name even when i am at home 'kuku kuku kuki' is my usual blaber.

New Discovery

hi,
I just made an awesome discovery today. If I stand on the stool in bathroom, my hand reaches the washbasin tap!!!yipeee...can you imagine the fun I can have. I keep opening the tap and keep closing it. If there are clothes in the basin (mom mostly puts them there and forgets ;)) then i can pretend to wash them.
Some weeks ago i learnt the skill to open tap, bottles lids, etc. Just need to turn it round n round. Now whenever i get a chance, I move into the bathroom and start the tap. I pour water on myself and its great fun. Dont know why mom drags me out of it, spoilsport. I can open bottles and tiffin boxes also. I am the most skilled kid in my house.
