Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to my new friend who likes on 502.
I attended my first birthday party and all kids had a blast eating cake and chips. Mum bonded with other mums and gave a gift. Nice to know there are so many kids in my building, will be fun growing up :)

Trip to SiddhiVinayak Temple

Ganapati Bappa Morya!!
I had awesome trip to Siddhi Vinayak Temple today. I went for darshan along with Pappa, mamma, Fia and Dadi. Before my birth, dadi had prayed to bappa and said she will bring me to temple.
I had a good time in taxi, with cool breeze and cars streaming by.

I earned the name of 'Labad' from Prasaad wala aunty: An aunty sellign prasad near the temple offered mamma a seat since she was carring me. Pappa got tea for all 4 of them. Mamma kept the tea aside since she was holding me. Aunty said" have your tea, i will distract baba'. Aunty offered me modak which I promptly took. She talked with me for few minutes while I started eating the modak (which was real good), she asked me for the modak. I didn't realise what she wanted -she kept forwarding her hand to me and said "de de". I took modak in another hand and gave her my enpty hand for handshake. Everyone started lauging and aunty called me Labaad.

Neik on mum's birthday

It was Mamma's birthday!! I had lot of fun with Mamma as she came early from work. We went out for dinner and suddenly Nanaji and Nani arrived. Mamma was so surprised. I knew it all along, i planned it with Pappa ;). Nanaji gave me a lots of cars as I kept the secret.

I had chinese food and banged on tables. Mamma got lot of gifts too.

Trip to Jamnagar

hi all,
I just came back from a weeklong vacation in Jamnagar. Awesome place, met lot of people, travelled in train and figured out how to do ta-ta :)
I went with mom, dad, fia and dadi. We went in train- my first long trip in Indian Railway. I played with near by people and slept most of the time. Mom was happy I wasn't troubling her much- truth be told, I was totally fascinated by all the screws and levers in our compartment. We met Fia's in laws, had lunch and slept most time on the first day. I went with mom dad to search for Fia's wedding venue, saw lot of new things this way- Vadi, hand pump, cow-buffalo, lake, cat, fighter jets...
We visited few temples and eating outlets. Cant decide which ones were good cos no one let me eat anything outside :( but they all looked real nice. We went for shopping also, mom dadi and fia took so long, i went to sleep.
I played cricket with Jas bhai and Pappa-this was right outside dadaji's old house where he was bought up. This was a special moment for me and dad.
I figured out how to do ta-ta-you have to twirl your hand back n forth few times. Took me some time to get the hang of it it but now i do it all the time-even when no one is going anywhere.
I have 6 teeth now, 2 coming up together this week.

My first Diwali

Had heard a lot about Diwali-Saw lot of new things :)
Mum did rangoli, Fia lit many diiyas, Dadi did puja and Dad took us out for lunch and shopping. I was looking cute and handsome as always. Bright a sunshine and cute as a teddy bear, people looked at me from whatever they were doing. Everyone played with me at the shop and i was at my perfect behavior. Saw some crackers but they didn't impress me much.

Kids Day at work

Went to Daddy's office today. Saw magic show, played games, got a flower balloon, took an office ride, phew! Office life is hectic. Mummy and dadi came with me. They had a great time and had my snacks too :)

I can walk- with support though

I can stand and walk with support now. I keep everyone on their toes-trying to support me, keep me from bringing down boxes, vessels

Everyone is always on their toes now, trying to help me balance, keep me from moving the table, chairs, boxes, vessels. But I am faster than them....hahahahaha

Diwali celebration in advance

Mom n dad had diwali celebration in office. They were dressed in traditional clothes for a change- Mom in saree and dad in kurta pajama. They dressed me in rajasthani dhoti -kurta. I looked so handsome mom couldn't stop kissing me :)

This will be my first diwali, lets see what it is all about.

Playing with nanaji

i love playing with nanaji. Mom says I am 'dal badlu'- wheneveri see nanaji I rush to be with him, leaving everyone.

Born with a silver spoon

I was literally born with a silver spoon, Fia bought me a silver spoon and glass the day  i was born. I drink water in that.

I am dressed up for Navratri in Kurta Pajama. I went with mom dad and dadi to visit Sai Dham temple and watch garba. We saw puja at 2-3 places. There was lot of music and people everywhere.

Here I am

My first day in the world. I was born on 24th Feb, 2011 at 2.50 pm. Daddy, nani and dadi were waiting for me at the nursing home. Doctor and nurses took great care of me during my hospital stay and I was their favourite baby. I came to Nani's place the next sunday.
Few things prominent about me from day 1 were:
very peaceful
intelligent aura
impatient when hungry
